Equip Your Sports Club to Respond to Australia’s Mental Health Crisis.

In any given year, 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health challenge. Someone you know is experiencing mental health difficulties right now; it might be a family member, a friend or a colleague.

Mental illness impacts every Australian.
Together, we can change this.

Equip Your Sports Club to Respond to Australia’s Mental Health Crisis.

Mission Values

We train volunteers in local sports clubs with Mental Health First Aid and provide ongoing professional and peer-led support through Wellbeing Advisor Groups.

If you want to be helpful, practical, and informed when supporting someone going through a challenging time, we can help you.

The Cost

Free for All Community-Based Sporting Organisations

Our accredited courses are free for all community-based sporting organisations. We are financially supported by donations from individuals and local businesses, government grants and not-for-profit trusts.

A Bold and Urgent Vision

Raise an army of 10,000 volunteers and establish 1,000 Wellbeing Advisory Groups in the next 10 years.

Over the next 10 years, we will equip 10,000 volunteers and establish 1,000 Wellbeing Advisory Groups in local sports clubs throughout Australia, and we’ll host 2 national conferences for volunteers.

The mental health crisis in Australia won’t be stopped by mental health professionals alone - it’ll take an army of well-equipped volunteers within local communities to support those with mental health challenges.

Our bold vision comes from seeing a great need. Too many people go unsupported, unrecognised and overlooked while going through difficult times or experiencing mental health challenges. But our bold and urgent vision is not without hope!

We believe local communities are resilient. We have seen evidence of this as communities came together to respond to natural disasters and global pandemics. Australians work together when it counts—and the mental health crisis in Australia counts!

What’s needed is a clear, practical and action-focused plan for individuals and local communities - Join the mission!
